Accessibility Statement

Last Updated: January 1, 2026

Foundation Medical Group is committed to making our digital presence and our physical clinics accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe healthcare should be reachable by every patient who needs it, and that starts with how easy it is to find us, contact us, and use our services online.

Conformance Standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological differences.

We’re working toward full conformance and review the site regularly to find and fix issues. Some sections of the site may not yet be fully conformant. If you find a barrier, please tell us so we can fix it.

What We’ve Done

Our team has built the site with accessibility in mind from the ground up. Specifically, we’ve focused on:

  • Semantic structure with proper headings, landmarks, and lists so screen readers can navigate the content in a logical order
  • Keyboard navigation so every interactive element (links, buttons, forms, menus) can be reached and used without a mouse
  • Visible focus indicators that show keyboard users where they are on the page
  • Color contrast that meets WCAG AA ratios for body text, headings, and interactive elements
  • Descriptive alt text for images that convey meaning, and empty alt attributes for purely decorative images
  • Captioned and transcribed media for video content where it’s available
  • Form labels clearly tied to each input field, with helpful error messages
  • Responsive design that works on phones, tablets, and assistive technology like screen magnifiers
  • Reduced motion support that respects the operating system’s “reduce motion” setting

What We’re Still Working On

We’re honest about the gaps. A few things we’re still improving:

  • Older blog posts may include images without complete alt text
  • Some embedded third-party content (forms, maps, video players) is governed by the vendor’s accessibility standards rather than ours
  • PDFs uploaded before 2026 may not be fully tagged for screen readers

We’re working through these as part of an ongoing review.

Physical Clinic Accessibility

Each of our clinics is wheelchair accessible with step-free entrances, accessible parking, and ADA-compliant restrooms. If you need additional accommodations for your visit, including sign language interpretation, large-print forms, or extended appointment time, let us know when you book and we’ll make it happen.

Reporting an Accessibility Issue

If you can’t access part of our site, or if something on the site or in one of our clinics isn’t working for you, please get in touch. We take accessibility feedback seriously and will respond within five business days.

Email: info@foundationmedicalgroup.org Phone: (800) 983-1974 Mail: Foundation Medical Group, 456 E State Street, Suite 1400, American Fork, UT 84003

When you contact us, please include the page or feature, the device and assistive technology you’re using, and a brief description of the problem. The more detail you can share, the faster we can fix it.

Compatibility

The site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and common assistive technology, including JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack. We test on iOS and Android with the built-in screen readers on each platform.

Formal Approval

This accessibility statement was prepared on January 1, 2026, in line with WCAG 2.1 Level AA and the Americans with Disabilities Act. We review it at least once a year.
