Virginia, Utah, Georgia, and Texas. You need to be physically located in one of those states at the time of your visit. We confirm location at every appointment, as required by law.
Most patients can join from a browser link on a phone or computer with a camera. Some payers prefer a specific platform, and our care team will let you know if that applies.
For many patients, yes. Talk therapy and routine medication management work well by video. Treatments like TMS, Spravato, ketamine, and some controlled medication starts require in-person visits.
Most commercial plans, Medicare, and the Medicaid programs we participate in cover telehealth on parity with in-person visits. Our care team verifies your specific benefits before your first appointment.
If you're in crisis, call 988 or go to your nearest emergency room. We're not a 24/7 crisis service. For non-emergency between-visit questions, message us through the patient portal and we respond on the next business day.
For some controlled medications, the first visit needs to be in person. After that, refills can usually happen by telehealth depending on the medication and state rules. We'll spell out exactly what applies to you.
